The EZ10 driverless shuttle can transport up to 10 people, navigating a pre-programmed journey without a driver on board! This 100% electric vehicle is environmentally friendly and makes short journeys easier.
Particularly useful in areas such as pedestrian zones, university campuses, or even hospitals, the EZ10 shuttle offers three configuration modes, adapting to best suit the needs of its users. A metro mode in which the vehicle systematically stops at each station, a bus mode in which the vehicle stops upon request, and finally the “on-demand” mode that allows users to call an EZ10 to a stop of their choice upon request using the station terminals or the dedicated mobile app.
This technological gem is as practical as it is revolutionary and could profoundly change the way in which we move around within enclosed spaces forever.
THE EZ10 DRIVERLESS SHUTTLE HOW DOES IT WORK?
It’s the question we’re all asking ourselves. How can an electric vehicle navigate itself without the help of a driver, rails, or overhead lines?
EasyMile has integrated a hybrid localisation system and an anti-collision feature into its electric driverless vehicles, allowing them to navigate through less busy areas in complete safety. The shuttle is therefore able to adapt its behaviour in line with possible obstacles and its surrounding environment. The pre-defined journey is recorded and the two on-board cameras and lasers, which are linked to the on-board computer, then analyse the route and allow the EZ10 electric vehicle to accurately locate its position and navigate itself without a driver.
The system is seamlessly managed using dedicated software and mobile applications, which can supervise several vehicles at once.
